Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE hitch bike rack, how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This is gonna be an affordable option that's gonna be able to get up to 80 pounds per bike where you need it to go. It's a platform style rack, that means it holds the bike up primarily with these trays and cradles down here at the bottom. We have our frame hooks here on the middle and we have one strap on either tire one in the front, one in the back so it holds our bike very securely but it does make frame contact. So we wouldn't recommend using this with a carbon frame bike just 'cause it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. more

The NV 2.0 is gonna be a premium rack with a bunch of premium features. First and foremost being the weight capacity, does support two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece. It's a platform-style bike rack, so it holds the bike up with these trays and cradles, and primarily by this front wheel hook here and one additional strap down at the bottom. So we can get e-bikes on here with that 60 pound weight capacity. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. The Sherpa is going to be a premium option for you to get two bikes up to 40 pounds where you need 'em to go. It is a platform style rack, which means it holds a bike up by the trays, and the cradles down here at the bottom keeps them in place with this front wheel hook, and one strap down here at the back. So if you wanna mix and match this with your carbon frame or alternative frame bikes it'll work 'cause we don't make any frame contact. So we can accommodate those shapes and we're not gonna damage the frame while we're moving, but it doesn't have enough weight capacity for your e-bikes. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Chrysler Pacifica- Video

It's capable of supporting up to five bikes, up to 150 pounds total. It's going to hold onto our bikes primarily with the top tube here and the zip cradles as well as this anti-sway cradle in the back. So it will be making contact with our frame. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E hitch bike rack and how it fits on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. This is a two bike platform style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 70 pounds and it's gonna hold onto our bikes primarily with these clamps, frame, as well as three additional straps down at the bottom. Because this rack does have that 70 pound weight capacity, typically you're gonna use this for heavier bikes and most often e-bikes, but if you do want to maybe get one of your carbon frame bikes on here as well, we wouldn't recommend it just because it does make that frame contact with this clamp, it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. But one of the nicer features at this rack offers is the fact that it tilts and it tilts really aggressively, almost 90 degrees. So to tilt it away, we'll start by loosening up this gray hand knob down here until it gets to the point where you can push it down just like that. more

So if you do wanna transport your carbon frame bikes, we wouldn't recommend this rack, just 'cause it does make that frame contact, could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. But one thing about this rack is that it does not have the ability to tilt away with the bike loaded up. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack, here on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So the Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack, is a really great cost effective bike rack option for you and the family because it allow you to carry up to four bikes. Now, something that this bike rack does really well in comparison to some of the other hanging style racks, is that the arms here at the end taper in you can see the arms have a much smaller distance between them here, than back here. Now, the reason for this is these two bikes here are usually gonna be used for your kids' bikes, that obviously aren't very big. So sometimes they might not work with all the arms spaced out here. So you'd put your two adult bikes back here the misses and the mister and then you'd have your two kids bikes here. more

Today on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack.The rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of four bikes. But if you need to carry an extra one, there's a five bike version available as well. So right away, probably the best thing about this rack, at least that I think is, it's a great compact way to carry around a lot of bikes. With these Pacificas being very family-oriented vehicles, usually there's not a ton of extra space on the inside, especially to carry around large items like bikes. So, by having a rack like this, you're going to be able to carry around all your bikes and take all your family and friends in one vehicle. more

Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here with the trailer. Today we have a 2016 Chrysler Town And Country and we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule EasyFold XT bike rack. This is going to be a two bike rack that's going to mount to the hitch of your vehicle, to be able to get your bikes to and from the trails. Right off the bat I want to point out a few things that's going to set this bike rack apart from other bike racks. Right now we do not have rear hatch access, so we're not going to be able to access anything that's inside our car. To gain that rear hatch access, we're going to step down on this lever here, push it down until it's disengaged, and then we can lean our bikes with both loaded away in the loaded position. more

Hollywood Racks Trail-Rider Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country we're going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2-bike platform-style rack, part number HR200. The bike attaches to the rack in three locations. It's got a frame hook here on top that's padded to help prevent scratching the frame of your bike. Then it's got a wheel cradle at front and back that has a hook and loop fastener that goes over it to strap the wheel down into the cradle. Now let's go ahead and remove this bike so we can check out some of the other features. Squeeze the tab here in order to raise the frame hook. Then we'll undo the hook and loop fasteners. more

Hollywood Racks Sport-Rider-2 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider 2 Two-Bike Platform Style Rack, part number HR1000. The key feature of this rack is that you're able to tilt it away from the rear of the vehicle in order to gain hatch access when the bikes are mounted on it. In order to do that, you've got these two pins and clips here. You want to remove the smaller pin and clip first and then this larger one, and you can tilt it away. As you can see, that'll not quite gain us full access to our cargo area but enough that we will be able to get anything in or out that we may need. Then when you're done, you simply tilt it back up, reinstall the smaller pin first, and then the larger pin. This rack secures the bike in three locations. First one is the frame hook on top that's padded to help prevent scratching the frame of your bike, and then at the wheel cradle in both front and back, got hook-and-loop fasteners to tie it down. more

We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. We'll thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it with a wrench. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements and see how the two fit together. We have about 13 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 6 inches, and with the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 15 inches to the overall length of our Chrysler Town & Country. We can now pull the gold pin at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradles arms out, we've added about 35 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. To access the cargo area, we can pull the gold pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Today on our 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, well be test fitting the Thule Apex Hitch Mounted Four Bike Rack, part number TH9025. Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. Well allow the integrated hitch pin to fall into place, and well then turn the black knob to engage the anti-rattle device. With the bike rack secured, well go over a few clearance of measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 13-1/2 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 1 inch away. more

Today on our 2011 Chrysler Town & Country we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Mounted 4 Bike Rack, part number HR8500. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch, threading in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it with a wrench. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about 10-1/2" of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. Closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of our Town & Country is about 2" away, and we've added about 8" to the overall length of our vehicle with the cradle arms pointing down. We can now pull the black pin at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arms out we've added about 31" to the overall length of our Chrysler. To access the rear hatch we can pull the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about three and a half inches away and we've added about eleven and a half inches to the overall length of our Town and Country. To lower the platform, we can pull the red pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt it down. With the platform folded down, we have about eighteen inches of ground clearance at the rear of the bike rack. more

Today on our 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero hitch mounted two bike rack part number Th9042. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. We'll allow the integrated hitch pin to fall into place and we'll then turn the black knob to engage the anti rattle device. With the bike rack secured, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about seventeen and one quarter inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about an inch and a quarter. With the cradle arms pointing down, we've added about sixteen inches to the overall length of our vehicle. We can now pull the gray lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out and with the cradle arms folded out, we've added about twenty four and a half inches to the overall length of our Town and Country. To access the rear hatch we can pull the gray lever at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about four inches away and we've added about twenty eight and a half inches to the overall length of our Town and Country. To access the cargo area, we can pull the silver pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow n Go Bike Rack Review - 2011 Chrysler Town and Country- Video
Today on our 2011 Chrysler Town & Country we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow N' Go 3 bike rack, part number HR135. With this test fit we'll be using the Hidden Hitch Super Extra Long Ball Mount, part number 80232. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch and securing with a pin and clip, which is also sold separately. To load a bike we'll undo the black pin at the top of the mast and swing out our dual arms. We'll undo the cradle straps, place our bike into the frame cradles, and secure it with the straps. Keep in mind, this bike rack will not allow you to access the rear hatch. Now we'll take the rack out on our slalom course to show you the side to side movement. Then we'll go to our alternating bumps and then to our straight bumps to show you the up and down as well as the side to side movement. That will complete today's test fit for the Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow N' Go, part number HR135, on our 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. more

Well begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. Well thread in our anti-rattle bolt and then tighten it down using a wrench. With the bike rack secure well go over a couple of clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. With the platform folded up we have about 17 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about four and three-quarters of an inch, and weve added about 10 inches to the overall length of our Chysler. more

The closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 2 inches away, and we've added about 9-1/2 inches to the overall length of our vehicle with the cradle arms folded down. We can now pull the gray lever at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out. With the cradle arm out we've added about 33 inches to the overall length of our Town and Country. To access the cargo area we can lift up the gray lever at the base of the bike rack and tilt the mast down. more

Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about four inches away and we've added about 32 inches to the overall length of our Town and Country. To load up a bike, we'll simply undo the cradle straps, place our bike into the frame cradles and then secure it with the straps. Now, one great feature of this bike rack is that it has the ability to tilt down with the bike loaded to give you access to your rear hatch. more
